Yes, you’re in the right place! MelNet is now Skin Cancer NZ.

Thank you for being part of the 2026 New Zealand Skin Cancer Summit

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the 2026 New Zealand Skin Cancer Summit, held at the InterContinental Wellington from 18–20 June 2026.

This was a significant milestone for our organisation - the first Summit delivered under our new name, Skin Cancer New Zealand, and the first to bring together expertise across all skin cancer types.

Under the theme 'Equity in action: bridging gaps for skin cancer', the Summit explored opportunities to improve prevention, early detection, treatment and support, with a focus on ensuring better access and outcomes for all New Zealanders.

The programme included two optional pre-Summit workshops - the Skin Surgery Masterclass and Advanced Dermoscopy Masterclass - followed by a two-day multidisciplinary Summit programme attended by delegates from across New Zealand and overseas.

We are grateful to all speakers, chairs, panellists and delegates for contributing their expertise, perspectives and commitment to advancing skin cancer care in Aotearoa New Zealand.
