An international trial of the mRNA melanoma vaccine Intismeran, combined with Keytruda, has shown promising early results in reducing the risk of high-risk melanoma returning, with 45 New Zealanders among more than 1,000 participants. Full trial results are expected in September and could potentially lead to earlier, more effective treatment for melanoma and other cancers.
